Autumn 2005

Jan in Canon City, Colorado - Sept 2005

I love the Autumn season! The air seems clearer, the trees are brilliant as they change colors, and there is something that stimulates my creative energy! Daylight hours are shorter and evenings are cool.

On the other hand, traditional seasonal celebratations bring fond memories and anticipation: children return to school during the day, football games, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas preparations.

Quilters around the globe are working to finish Christmas or Hannukah gifts - how about you?

I am delighted to have time at home with my family - to prepare for the holidays, catch up with friends and work in my quilting studio.

The projects are stacked high, the countertops are cluttered and it's a joy to sew again!

Take time from the busy season to enjoy your family and friends. We have so much to be thankful for!

Happy Stitching! Jan Krentz
