FABRIC SELECTION TIPS:

Select the prominent, large-scale print for the corner squares and coordinating prints you want to use for the central 45° diamonds. A simple LeMoyne star requires very little fabric and finishes up to a small 36" (approximate) size. A larger star design such as the Snow Crystals or Broken Star requires more yardage, and finish at approximately 60" (without borders).

Remember to VARY the SCALE of the prints you choose. You will like the fabrics if you have a variety of colors and contrast in the star, setting squares, and outer border.

A successful quilt routinely features LIGHT, MEDIUM, and DARK colors in the collection.
