Map of Underwear Islands
A classic Mariner's compass medallion quilt - with a silly twist! The large-scale background fabric is a Joe Boxer print featuring boxer shorts. The small boxer shorts in the border are approximately 2-1/2" square, dimensional with elastic waistbands and hemmed legs. They're accessorized with tiny 1/2" plastic clothes pins. The compass was foundation pieced following Judy Mathieson's directions, and is featured in Judy's book, Mariner's Compass Quilts - Setting a New Course. |
