Tucson Arizona Colorwash Hunter Star VIRTUAL workshop
Hello, Quilters!
I hope you and your community have stayed safe and Covid-free over the past several months. Your guild program chairman and I have been working behind the scenes to bring you a virtual workshop via Zoom on your computer, phone or tablet.
The very best transmission (and my preference when I am home sewing) is to set my laptop near me, or hook the laptop to my TV in the same space and follow along while I sew! If you plan to join us for the virtual workshop, please register with your program organizer by clicking on this link: _________________.
Please provide your contact information including your mailing address, and I will send you the class handout with a fusible panel to use for the class project.
The Colorwash Hunter Star panel is a very lightweight interfacing type material that is silk-screened with a grid for our design work. A complete supply list can be printed by clicking this link: https://www.jankrentz.com/workshops-supply.php?ID=2.
The supply list instructs you to cut 2" squares of fabric. I have also prepared optional pre-cut squares and an additional fusible panel with instruction sheet. If you are interested in purchasing a kit, you will have TWO panels and TWO sets of instructions for this class!
I photographed each kit this week. They are each packaged in a heavier-weight zip-style plastic bag. The photos have some light reflection and I did some photoshop edits to make the colors appear more like they do without the reflection!
Each kit is numbered. There are a few itentical kit color combinations (for instance, the red, black and white kits) and many that are single combinations of hand-selected fabrics that lend themselves toward an impressionist scenic landscape if you choose to arrange the fabrics that way during the workshop.
There are a limited number (3) of scenic landscape kits at a slightly higher price. These kits are hand-cut from a scenic fabric, hand stacked and sections numbered for easy placement.
Each kit has a Paypal button to click, paying for the kit and the postage all together. When I ship the kit to you before class, I will also include your class handout and duplicate panel, too.
If you prefer to cut your own 2" squares, please provide your mailing address and e-mail at the time of registration so I can mail the class handout and panel to you.
